I love reading what you're up to because Max is the exact same age and we're facing the exact same concerns (and getting around to the same firsts, like going in park swings). It's true, whenever you seem pushed RIGHT to the very edge and feel like you can't take one more crying fit or difficult feeding session, that's when the babe decides to cut you a break and be cuddly for the day. Yeesh. The other day, I was jostling Max in my arms at a busy takeout restaurant, trying to keep him awake and entertained for five more minutes until we could get home again, and he was so fussy, but then he just took a deep sigh and rested his head on my shoulder -- right in the crook of my neck -- and chilled out there. It was SOOO lovely. M is a good mix of independent and cuddly, although she definitely prefers to play with me sitting right next to her. My favorite thing is that she gives hugs on her own, sometimes turning around while she's playing to hug my arm. I think she's even starting to give me kisses, although it's hard to tell them apart from general nomming.Annahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03644501843801907359noreply@blogger.com
